A vintage-style floral motif, modeled after medieval copperplate engravings. Tiles from buildings and other structures are used as the frame. Manipuri's custom-made Indian stole is made of 70% cotton and 30% silk, and is woven entirely in India. Washing it once makes the cotton soft to the touch while still maintaining its firmness. The unique sheen of silk is added to it, further enhancing the quality of the fabric. The more you use it, the more it will fit your skin, and the fabric will have a unique drape. The pattern is printed by hand, without the use of machines, by Indian artisans, who carefully hand-print each piece.
