This piece was inspired by a crossword puzzle that appeared in a local newspaper that was used as wrapping paper for souvenirs from Paris. I added a playful touch to the illustration, incorporating the essence of a Parisian flea market. Please use the word list to think about what goes in the blank spaces.
Manipuri scarves are individually hand-printed by Japanese artisans, with the edges hand-rolled. The fabric is made from 12 momme twill silk. It's neither too thin nor too thick, and is incredibly smooth. The silk's lustrous sheen adds a touch of brightness to any color, making any outfit look even more vibrant.
