<Silk Scarf 88> Tropical Garden
This drawing is based on the memory of a colorful dream I once had. Inside the greenhouse, flowers bloom freely and trees are laden with fruit, with butterflies fluttering between them. The rough strokes of colored pencils are a key point in expressing the joyful feeling.
Manipuri scarves are individually hand-printed by Japanese artisans, with the edges hand-rolled. The fabric is made from 12 momme twill silk. It's neither too thin nor too thick, and is incredibly smooth. The silk's lustrous sheen adds a touch of brightness to any color, making any outfit look even more vibrant.
